Template Viewer/Editor
Template Viewer/Editor is a rapid template prototyping application developed using Qt. We use CTemplate as the template engine for the simple Content Management System (CMS) component of Minnal.
The template viewer application was developed to allow rapid prototyping and testing of templates. Content developers can use either JSON or XML to serve as the data dictionary that will be used to fill the template. JSON is easier to enter manually, however suffers from limitations (see application usage notes for details). XML is in general a far superior data format (though less easy to enter manually) and the same proves to be the case when converting data to the template data dictionary.
